Position Overview:
We are in search of an experienced Estimator to join our restoration construction team. As an Xactimate Estimator, you will play a critical role in accurately assessing project costs, creating detailed estimates, and contributing to the successful execution of restoration construction projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Estimation and Cost Analysis:
·         Utilize Xactimate software to create accurate and comprehensive project estimates for restoration construction.
·         Evaluate project scope, materials, labor, and other factors to determine costs.
·         Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
·         Prepare detailed and organized estimate reports, outlining labor, materials, and any necessary adjustments.
·         Maintain thorough documentation of estimates, changes, and cost breakdowns.
·         Provide regular updates to project managers on estimated costs and any changes during the project lifecycle.
Collaboration and Communication:
·         Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
·         Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure clear understanding of project needs.
Industry Knowledge:
·         Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and materials to ensure accurate estimation.
·         Utilize knowledge of restoration construction methods and best practices to inform estimates.
·         Quality Assurance:
·         Review estimates for accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
·         Ensure that all estimates adhere to company and industry standards.
 
Qualifications:
 
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in restoration construction estimation using Xactimate.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Xactimate software for accurate and efficient estimating.
Construction Knowledge: Solid understanding of restoration construction materials, methods, and pricing.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate estimates.
Communication: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and partners.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze project details and make informed cost assessments.
Time Management: Efficiently manage workload and meet deadlines.
Flexibility: Adapt to changes and adjustments in project scope and requirements.
Degree: Relevant degree or certification in construction management or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
